Andrea Peniche was born in Vila do Conde, in 1974. She is an editor by profession. She graduated in Philosophy and has a master’s degree in Gender Studies from the University of Porto. She is an activist with the feminist collective A Coletiva, one of the organizers of the International Feminist Strike in Portugal. She is the author of the book Elas Somos Nós: O direito ao aborto como reivindicação democrática e cidadã and of several texts in collective works and publications on feminist and political philosophy themes.
