Allan Barbosa (he – his) is 30 years old and identifies as a gay cisgender man. He is Brazilian and has lived in Portugal for over five years. He has a degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Aveiro. His activism centres on the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and issues related to migrant communities. He is a board member of Queer Tropical – Association of Support for the Brazilian LGBTQI+ Community in Portugal, which he has been a member of since 2019. He is a co-founder of the LGBTI+ March in Aveiro, having participated in its organisation since the first edition in 2019. That year, he took part in the creation of Coletivo Aveiro sem Armários (CASA). She took part in the Organising Committee of the Porto LGBTI+ Pride March (COMOP) in 2021 and 2024. Between 2021 and 2024, he was part of the Porto Theatre and Politics Laboratory, a space for collective creation and experimentation based on the methodologies of the Theatre of the Oppressed.
