Maria Francisca Ferreira

Maria Francisca Ferreira (1999) has a degree in Psychology of Deviant Behaviour and Justice from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) and works with children and young people at risk of social exclusion.  For four years she was a member of the FPCEUP Students’ Association, responsible for organising activities in the field of educational policies and cultural and recreational activities. She has been a member of the Organising Committee of the Porto LGBTI+ Pride March (COMOP) since 2017. She is a founder and activist in the feminist collective Feminismos Sobre Rodas (Feminisms on Wheels), and has been part of different political mobilisation processes such as the feminist strike, the March 8th netting and other anti-racist public mobilisations, the fight for the right to housing and international issues.
